Hardship becomes the story. Kintsugi is the Japanese practice of mending broken heirlooms by hand-filling the cracks with gold instead of hiding the damage. A brushed solid steel bar, fractured across three sides and filled by hand in real 18k gold, hung on the 5.2mm curb chain in matching steel.
